Blue Coupe comprises the long awaited reunion of Albert and Joe Bouchard, founding members of Blue Öyster Cult, on drums and guitar respectively, and bassist, Dennis Dunaway, founder of the Alice Cooper Group. Albert is the co-writer and arranger of many of Blue Öyster Cult's biggest hits including "Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll," "R.U. Ready to Rock" and many others. Joe wrote "Hot Rails to Hell," "Astronomy" and co-wrote many other well loved BÖC songs. Dennis co-wrote Alice's biggest smash hits including "I'm 18," "School's Out" and "Under My Wheels."

Blue Coupe are wrapping up their second album, featuring Tish and Snooky from Manic Panic, Ross the Boss from Manowar and the Dictators, Buck Dharma from Blue Öyster Cult and Goldy McJohn from Steppenwolf as special guest stars. The album was recorded at the Carriage House Studios in Stamford CT and is being mixed in LA’s Swing House Studios by Jack Douglas (Aerosmith, John Lennon, Cheap Trick, Alice Cooper, BOC, etc.) and Warren Huart (Aerosmith, The Fray, James Blunt, etc.)
Старая гвардия решила тряхнуть стариной и тряхнула не плохо, результат мне понравился. В первый раз (не слышал, но как понял) они просто сделали каверы на (естественно) Купера и ВОС. В этот раз вроде уже вновь написанные для альбома свои.
Второй проход слегка остудил впечатления. Все таки сильные музыканты не обязательно замечетельные авторы. Общее звучание интересно, но реально сильных вещей не наблюдается. Альбом на раз.
